_Ballad Town is a nickname given to Forest Grove, Oregon. The town, along with assistance by first the Forest Grove Gleemen and then the Westside Singers, has sponsored a barbershop ballad contest each year since 1946!

After many, many years of sponsorship by the Westside Singers, the Ballad Contest has a new sponsor/producer in the Tualatin Valley Harmony Masters. Rest assured, however, that the tradition of outstanding shows featuring the best talent available will continue well into the future.

This year's contest is scheduled for Friday-Saturday, March 30-31, 2012 at Forest Grove High School in Forest Grove, OR. All Tickets are sold through the Forest Grove Chamber of Commerce and you can order them here! And returning to the stage in 2012...WOMEN!
